Vikrum Aiyer

Vikrum Aiyer is a seasoned policy strategist with a diverse background in public policy, innovation, and climate technology. Currently, he serves as the Head of Climate Policy & External Affairs at Heirloom, a startup dedicated to removing one billion tons of CO2 by 2035. Vikrum's extensive career includes serving as Deputy Director in the ACLU’s National Political Advocacy Department, Senior Policy Advisor in the Obama White House, and Vice President at Postmates, where he led public policy and strategic communications through its $2.6 billion acquisition by Uber. He has also advised on economic development strategies for End Poverty in California (EPIC) and serves as a Commissioner on San Francisco's Workforce Investment Board. Vikrum holds a BA in Political Science from UC Berkeley and has been recognized as a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree for Law & Policy. His work is driven by a commitment to equity and sustainable development.
