FCI is pioneering a complete, doctor-led care model to bring our most vulnerable from the street into a home. In 2023 we launched a PEH Whole Person Care Program in LA County with HOPICS and in Kern County we helped launch a similar program working with Akido Labs.

LAURA

The Los Angeles Unhoused Response Academy (LAURA) aims to build the capacity of the LA County homeless workforce--today and in the future and provide an on-ramp for new talent, reduce attrition, and light a path for professional growth and growth in compensation.

Coming Soon

The Future Communities Institute (FCI) stands at the forefront of social innovation. As a dynamic non-profit action-tank, we are building data-backed solutions to some of society's most complex challenges.

We bring together the right people—experts with frontline experience, leaders in academia and government, tech innovators and philanthropists— to prototype and validate initiatives that are impactful, sustainable and can work at scale.

Once proven, we leverage our extensive network to deploy these solutions through project expansion, policy change and thought leadership.

We are optimists without illusions. We are not just imagining a better future—we're building it, one evidence-based solution at a time.
