The mission of the LA Unhoused Response Academy (“LAURA”) is to build the capacity of the Los Angeles County homeless workforce—today and in the future.

LAURA aims to provide an on-ramp for new talent to enter the sector, support those already working to reduce attrition, and define a skills framework–including certifications or accreditations– to light a path for professional growth and growth in compensation.
